[The video opens on a Ditto, who seems to look a little sheepish. Behind it is everyone's favorite female kick-favoring martial artist, Chie, looking extremely irritated. She grabs the sides of the Ditto's face and stretches it out, then lets go, allowing it to snap back into place.]

Souji-kun. [Yikes, that's a cold tone. Streeeetch... Snap. Chie keeps doing this through the rest of the paragraph.] I left half my team in the room to relax, 'cause I wanted to get some one-on-one time in with a few of them. And when I got back, I found a certain Pokémon had snuck into my room while I was out. [Streeeetch... Snap.] You really need to do something about this thing.

Anyone else who's listening... Well, I guess I've got some eggs to sell! [She sighs and gestures to the side, and whoever's holding the camera turns it to show off a pile of Pokémon eggs. Looks like there's about 8 or 9 of them.] I know most of 'em are Snorunt eggs, and the other ones... I think they're gonna be either Tyrogues or Shuppets. I'd probably rather have cash, but then again, if you've got a cool egg sitting around, we can make a trade too. Let me know!

[The camera turns toward Chie again.] That's about all on my end. I know I've been quiet lately, but after the whole... bug thing... [She suppresses a shudder.] Figure a little peace and quiet is a good thing for once. Later.

A Snorunt? [She blinks. It sounds like it has "snow" in its name...]

[Naturally, Chie's attention is drawn to the large sea-creature-looking head that has just appeared on-screen.]

Wow. What kind of Pokémon is that?

Great! Anybody I might know?

[As Chie asks her question, busily messing with her Pokégear, a little red-horned head suddenly pops up from behind the pile of eggs. The Ralts examines Rise with what is clearly a critical eye, even though its eyes are hidden.]

Her name's Heather-- huh?

[ hello, Ralts. Rise's blinking because what on earth-- ]

Um... Senpai?

Sure, I'll introduce you some time! He's... He's around here somewhere, I dunno what he's up to.

[:|!!!] Sure! [And muttering to herself:] Might as well get it over with.

Doesn't ring a bell... Huh, what's up? [She glances over her shoulder --] Oh, there you are! I was wondering where you'd wandered off to.

[Chie gets up from her chair and approaches the egg pile, reaching down to pat the Ralts on the head.] It's okay, Rise-chan's one of the most trustworthy people I know! You don't have to worry about her at all.

[That seems to mollify it, and it gives her a slow nod.] Ralts.

[It takes her a second to get that one, but she snickers when she does.] Oh, that was terrible. You should tell that one to Teddie some time.

Haha, that sure sounds nice! But I think Suzuka Gongen will be enough. We've only got so much room in the PCs, y'know? And who knows when I might find a new Pokémon I want to train.

Yeah, that's true. Or someone might have a cool new Pokémon to trade me.

[She glances over at Yosuke now, setting down her gear, and...] Hey, speaking of new Pokémon. Did you just get that fox there?

Ugh, you're not kidding! Thank god for my team, or I'd have been dead out there. Makes me really miss the other Suzuka Gongen, y'know?

Yep! They're little Ice-type critters, kinda... Well, Suzuka Gongen's right here, I can just show you!

[She leans off-screen for a second or two, then returns with the aforementioned Snorunt in her arms.] Ta-da!

[We're just not going to ask what he needs them for.]

Maybe it needs to be trained a bit better? I remember Bruce tried to run off a lot at first. I had to sit him down and talk to him on the way to Cherrygrove.

Teddie sure is famous around these parts, isn't he.

[a laugh] But point, even though the thought of a walking fleet of tents really shouldn't be passed up for anything. Are you still looking for homes for them?

... Ralts? [ she's studying this thing rather curiously. ] Is this your Easter egg?

Yeah, that would be pretty cool, actually.

[Pauses, looking down at the Vulpix with a frown.] Kind of, yeah. Hokuto - this Vulpix - she was, uh... Sumeragi-san's. But he's gone missing. Like, can't reach him over the network or anything either. I came out of my room this morning and she was alone and upset. So... I guess he's gone now.

Haha, is he? I actually know him from home.

Sure am! I've had a couple takers so far, but there's still a few left. Are you interested?

[That gets a wince.] Ouch. Friend you made on the way here? That stinks. And here I thought she was just your Easter egg or something.

[She reaches out to Hokuto tentatively, letting her sniff her hand before attempting to pet her.] It's rough for everybody when people go home, huh? I met Sandy and Rinty both after their trainers left, but I didn't know them before. [And then there's Yukiko, who showed up and vanished before Chie could even meet up with her... Sigh.]

Sure is! He just hatched last night before bed. [She ruffles his hair... helmet... whatever it is affectionately, and he gives her a smile.] I think he's decided to protect the other eggs until they all find homes.

Yeah, we showed up around the same time, so we hung out a bunch.

[Hokuto sniffs, nuzzling against Chie's hand. She could use some affection right now.] Yeah. I mean, it sucks for us, but can you imagine how it feels for these guys? It's gotta be like... I dunno, losing a parent or something.

[Can you tell he's been thinking about this all morning?] Guess at least it's good when there's people nearby to help them out, huh.

Awww, that's sweet! [ all smiles here. ] It's nice to meet you!

Probably training, right?

[a far too happy nod] I'll get him ready now. See you.

[... and he cuts the feed to get the bit of money tied to his jesusdragonfly]

[Oh... It looks... cute.]

I-I'll take one. How much is it?

[ Hey, it's just nice to have them, alright? It's painful when it's destroyed by a kick. ]

Maybe. It actually belonged to a different trainer that left, so maybe it just doesn't really like me.

Oh, wow, she's warm. [Poor thing. Hokuto is getting all the scritches. All of them.] Yeah, you're right. They're so much smarter than pets back home, so... It really must be like that for them.

[She leans in close to the little Vulpix, still petting her affectionately.] Don't worry, Hokuto-chan, Yosuke'll take good care of you. And if he doesn't, you just come right to me and I'll set him straight!

Wouldn't surprise me! He's always eager to practice.

[She shuts off her feed too, heading over to sit by a window and keep an eye out for a giant dragonfly (sobsob).]
